His career has spanned roles at Occidental Petroleum, Schlumberger, Halliburton, and others in regions including the US, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

Best completed her PhD at Stanford University and holds a BS in Geophysics from Caltech. She has experience in earthquake seismology, petroleum geology, basin modeling, wellbore stability, software development, well planning, petrophysics and automation.

Best has worked for PTTEP in Thailand and Chevron ETC.
